Rules will be NFHS Standard high school rules with a couple exceptions:

Each team will have four time outs

3rd grade boys and 3rd girls and 4th grade girls can shoot at 12 feet;  4th grade boys shoot at 15 feet for a free throw but can jump over line, 5th grade and above will shoot at the normal 15 feet free throw line.

For 3rd-5th grades it will be 16 minute running clock halves with the clock stopping on all whistles unless one team is winning by 20 or more points 

For 6th-12 grades it will be 18 minute running clock halves with the clock stopping on all whistles unless one team is winning by 20 or more points 

IF a team has over a 20 point lead they cannot press and the clock will continue to run no matter what except under a minute left in the game when a team is shooting free throws ONLY.

Ball size will be 28.5 for all girls’ grades. For boys they will use the 28.5 until 7th grade. Once they get to 7th grade they will use a 29.5 ball size.

All team players and coaches are expected to show character, be on time, and respectful to all officials and people in charge.

All team are expected to be ready to play 20 minutes before the scheduled game unless they are currently playing somewhere else. IF we are ahead of schedule and teams have had enough time to warm up and all players are there we will start early.

We will allow a five minute grace period for a team after which a forfeit will occur unless the other team is playing in another gym.

How the seeding works is: 

• 1. Record

• 2. Head to Head two teams with the same record only if three teams are 1-1 it will go to point differential

• 3. Point Differential +/- 20

• 4. Points Allowed 

• 5. Points Scored

• 6. Coin Toss
